No Fear Super Energy Drink Review

On my first snowboarding trip last winter, I picked up the No Fear Super Energy drink in hope that it would give me enough energy to cut up the slopes until the sun went down. In actuality, I was going to need it for the countless times I fell on my ass, and the energy I’d exude trying to get back up. Trying No Fear energy drink was pretty fitting considering how apprehensive I was to try out this sport, but it was a blast!

The No Fear energy drink can is pretty awesome looking. It’s an all black can, and on the front is the No Fear logo and a wicked looking skull with wings. It’s very eye catching, and it’s something you’d want to be seen with if you’re partaking in some extreme sport, which is probably the whole intent of the design.

A 16 oz. can of No Fear Super Energy packs 174 mg of caffeine, 66 g of sugar, B vitamins, taurine, ginseng, guarana, L-carnitine, and L-arginine.

As far as taste goes, it definitely did not let me down. It was very pleasing to the taste buds with a nice citrus-grape flavor to it. There was no medicinal or wierd after taste which I much appreciated. I’ll definitely be drinking another one of these in the near future.

The final element to cover is the AMPED factor. After 20 minutes of chugging it down, I definitely felt the energy surge kick in. With all the caffeine and sugar in this bad boy, it was definitely able to provide the level of energy I needed to cut up the slopes. I’d say my energy buzz lasted a good 4 to 5 hours easily.

Alright dudes here’s the final verdict:

Price: $2.49

Taste: 8.5 out of 10

AMPED Factor: 8.5

Interesting Fact: 22 October, 2008 : - - Carlsbad, Ca — No Fear’s VP of Marketing, Britt Galland announced today that No Fear Energy is now the official energy drink sponsor of the NSSA. (globalsurfnews.com)
